Hop onto a campervan and buckle up for a 7-day epic road trip along Australia's stunning south coast, swapping cityscapes for sun-kissed beaches and rugged landscapes. This Adelaide-to-Melbourne odyssey promises turquoise waters, epic cliff walks, charming towns, and enough fresh seafood to satisfy your tummies.
Day 1: Adelaide Eats & McLaren Vale Sips
- Start your journey from Adelaide. Fuel up with a caffeine hit at the quirky Coffee Branch on Rundle Street, then grab a meat pie or two (it's practically mandatory!) at Glenelg Beach.

Day 6: Geelong
- If you are a history buff, visit the National Wool Museum to learn about Geelong's wool industry history, or explore the Geelong Gaol for a glimpse into the city's past.
- Or if you are still thirsty for an adrenaline pump, conquer the You Yangs and be rewarded with breathtaking views.
- Spend the night at Werribee South Caravan Park.
Day 7: Melbourne
Spend your last day exploring Melbourne at your own pace. Visit the iconic Federation Square, take a tram ride through the city, or visit the Melbourne Museum. In the afternoon, head to the Queen Victoria Market for some souvenir shopping and indulge in a delicious coffee at one of the many cafes.
Bonus Tips:
- Choose a campervan that fits your needs. If you intend to spend more time off-grid, hire one with a solar panel and gas operated shower.
- Take note of depot opening hours. Most depots operate from 09:00 – 16:00 only.
- Pack layers and be prepared for all weather conditions. Humour has it that Melbourne has 4 seasons in a day.
